What it’s not built to do

A library is built to be searched, not walked through. To get value out of Bluon, your tech has to already know roughly what to look up — the model, the fault code, the part — and then read the answer off a phone screen, standing in a 130-degree attic, one hand on a flashlight.

That’s fine when the question is “what is this unit.” It doesn’t help when the question is “I don’t know what’s wrong yet.” A second-year tech staring at a dead condenser doesn’t need a manual pulled up — they need someone walking them through what to check first, what the result means, and what to try next. We’d rather say it plainly: if your shop’s actual bottleneck is parts lookup, OEM manuals, or getting equipment data inside ServiceTitan or BuildOps, Bluon’s depth there is real and we don’t try to match it. That’s their core business, built over years, and it shows.

Why we don’t think it’s really either/or

The two tools solve different first questions. Bluon answers “what exactly is this unit and what does it take.” ACLogics answers “I’m standing at a dead system — what do I check next.” A shop with junior techs on the truck could reasonably run both: Bluon to pull the manual and confirm the part, ACLogics to walk the actual diagnosis and close the call with a clean report.
